Un paio di giorni fa ho scoperto Thoggen, uno strumento per fare copie backup dei nostri film sul computer. Basato su GStreamer e GTK+. Semplice da usare, basta inserire un DVD video (naturalmente) e avviare Thoggen e poi impostare (Tutto in modo molto semplice) le dimensioni del file la risoluzione del video,lingua,ecc.......
Caratteristiche:
Easy to use, with a nice graphical user interface (GUI)
Supports title preview, picture cropping, and picture resizing.
Language Selection for audio track (no subtitle support yet though)
Encodes into Ogg/Theora video
Can encode from local directory with video DVD files
Based on the GStreamer multimedia framework, which makes it fairly easy to add additional encoding formats/codecs in future.
Formati supportati (almeno per adesso...) :
Ogg/Theora, AVI/divx/mpeg
Per installarlo basta: sudo apt-get install thoggen
